I’m Kanchan Joneja. 21 years old. Half-architect. And passionately curious.
If there’s something that has changed my perspective recently, it has been my architectural education. I’ve learnt to observe everything critically and learn from the world around- visual thinking, if you may. And hence when I travel, or go through even a regular day, my eye wanders and my camera or sketchbook captures. A thirst for knowledge pushes me further to research, contemplate and make sense of the world -linking dots across place and time, trying to piece the puzzle together.
Composing Contexts is my attempt at exploring these interconnections and fascinating revelations about the various layers of a place- the physical, historical and social contexts- through travelogues, photographs and musings about architecture and philosophy.
I hope I’m able to spark some connections somewhere. 🙂
